Within the framework of its collaboration with
AERIS Tecnologias Ambientals, B2S Renewable Energies has successfully managed the installation of an
L-DAF 500 lamellar float, manufactured by its representative
Suguz (registered trademark Flotadores Urumea), at the
IDR water treatment plant in Igualada.
This technological solution has been designed to implement a tertiary treatment in order to
optimize the elimination of suspended solids and total particulate chromium, in order to comply with the new BREF guidelines.
Main technical characteristics
- Model: Rectangular lamellar float L-DAF 500.
- Application: Tertiary treatment.
- Treatment flow rate: 250 m³/h
- Useful surface: 13 m².
- Sludge collection system: Level regulation with control loop between the piezometric level probe and the outlet flow control valve.
- Lamellas: 1 m high, 60° inclination, with 80 mm separation.
Technological advantages and integrated complementary equipment
- Hydrodynamic pressurization circuit: treated water recirculation pumps with a flow rate of 60 m3/h at 6 bars.
- Automatic level system: Incorporates piezometric level transmitter with 4-20mA signal, PID and DN200 butterfly valve with actuator and positioner.
- Depressurization system regulated by a control loop with compressed air and equipped with 2 diaphragm valves with actuator and positioner.
- Dry compressed air system: maximum 200 L/minute (40L/minute in operation) at 10 bar provided with a droplet separation system and dryer.
- Intelligent control: PLC S7-1200, Siemens touchscreen, remote access via Ethernet.
- Structure with maintenance platform and access ladder.
