AERIS is an engineering company formed by experts from the GENOCOV research group at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Its mission is to assist industries and public entities in improving the environmental quality of their emissions, always employing the best available technologies.

In addition to developing "turnkey" technologies for the treatment of contaminated water and gases, AERIS undertakes significant research activities. Since 2015, AERIS has held the Innovative SME seal awarded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.

Our activities include assessing the specific environmental challenges faced by clients and integrating the design, "turnkey" construction, and operation of biological and/or physico-chemical systems for treating contaminated effluents. We also enhance existing installations, consistently aiming to maximize treatment efficiency and minimize operating costs.

 Our commitment is to guarantee treatment efficiencies that comply with current regulations, at competitive costs, and with minimal energy and environmental impact.
